Geriatrics grand rounds
Geriatrics Grand Rounds
The purpose of NIHAN Geriatrics Grand Rounds (GGRs) is to enhance geriatric workforce training to healthcare providers in focus of introducing and establishing stronger, age-friendly care systems amongst healthcare providers.
Upcoming Training: "Caring for Older Adults Through Telehealth"
The upcoming NIHAN GGR series is titled “Caring for Older Adults through Telehealth“, and was developed for healthcare providers’ training in conjunction with Comagine Health. The theme of this GGR program is caring for older and vulnerable adults through telehealth. Some topic objectives include discussing advance care planning, assessing mobility, and managing high-risk medications via telehealth.
For further information and registration links, download a information flyer below.
These GGRs take place January through May of 2023, and each training course is comprised of two parts: a pre-recorded didactic session and a live webinar. The didactic sessions will be available two weeks prior to the live webinar date and will include a lecture and practical case-study presentation by geriatrician, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine Associate Professor, and NIHAN Program Director Dr. Ji Yoo. During the course’s live webinar, participants will discuss the course case study and questions further with Dr. Yoo.

Participants can earn up to 12 CME credits for participating in all course trainings:
